Looks like the San Francisco City Council is tired of waiting on congress to propose clean energy initiatives and they are taking the lead, today they announced their own Solar Power Initiative. Under the proposal Businesses could receive up to $10,000 in rebates for installing solar panels, Residents could receive up to $5000. The program has a goal of 10,000 installations over the next 10 years.
