A month ago, I firmly put tongue in check and wrote a post, Democrats and al-Qaida really are Working Together at the time I never really considered that al-Qaida and the Democrats were working together.
It was just that Osama's most recent propaganda broadcasts seemed to be echoing the Democrats talking points on Iraq and in the video Osama appeared upset with the Democrats for not fulfilling their campaign promises in getting the troops out of Iraq.
At least in the case of the Haditha Marines, now it appears the Democrats instead of providing inspiration for al-Qaida propaganda, al-Qaida provided propaganda to Main Stream Media and the Democrats.
And the Main Stream Media and Democratic Leadership, either through incompetence or Bush/Military hatred failed to recognize that they were being duped by al-Qaida.

The report – apparently overlooked by a Washington press corps awash in leaked Bargewell documents and secret Naval Criminal Investigative Service reports – shows that Marine Corps intelligence operatives were advised of the scheme to demonize the Marines by an informant named Muhannad Hassan Hamadi. The informant was snared by 3/1 Marines on December 11 2005 and decided to cooperate.Unfortunately this has become an all too common occurrence in the Main Stream Media, in that they frequently "accidentally" ignore facts when doing reporting on Iraq or the Military when the story can be construed as a justification of the Leftist agenda of the Democrats and their supporters.
Then they take advantage of the initial "Big Splash" that these negative headlines make, and when the stories are proven false, they either ignore the the facts all together, or if really horrendous, they print a retraction of the "Big Splash" story on a back page or corporate blog, somewhere not for general consumption.
And I expect the same treatment with the Haditha Marines story, in a week or so, we might if we are lucky find a story in the New York Times buried 20 or 30 pages deep retracting the Haditha Marines stories. So lets at least make John Mertha aware that we are aware of this little plot by the MSM and the Democrats.
